There is a huge demand for technology for our modern lifestyle in different aspects, while heat-conductive textile which is progressively found in trendy fashion and also applied in athletics, extreme sport and rehabilitation applications. The new technology redefines and adds value to the wearers.

The sharing is to briefly introduce this emerging textile for fashion industry and its application. It also shares about the development and insight of commercialization of heat-conductive textile in Hong Kong.

Founder, Kalon Couture
Kevin is a seasoned entrepreneur and adventurer. He has traveled to over 46 countries and worked as a builder in Jordan, shepherd in Israel, racehorse rider in Ireland and more. After starting his first investment business, he founded Kalon Couture, which provides quality virtual sampling and virtual fitting services with the vision to optimize the fashion industry from production to consumption.

Topic: How 3D technology disrupts the garment industry?
From using virtual sampling to save costs and time, to using virtual try-on and 3D garment customization to better engage customers and reduce clothing misfit, fashion brands and factories are starting to take advantage of 3D technology in our increasingly interconnected and digitalized world to improve the effectiveness of their endeavors.

Quikec is making use of AI, big data and patented smart devices to ease up and add value to QA and QC activities along the manufacturing supply chain. Enabling customers worldwide to do more businesses at less cost & better quality

Dr. Haifeng Lu

CTO, Sambo Group Technology Limited
Dr. Lu holds a PhD from the institute of textiles and clothing, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He engaged in the research and development of nanomaterials, multifunctional polymers and green textile materials and published 11 scientific and technological papers and 4 invention patents.

Topic: Light-induced self-cleaning yarns
Dr. Lu will introduce the Light-induced self-cleaning yarn, a simple understanding is yarn with stain-decompose function under light which can avoid washing, thus saving water, electricity and reducing the use of phosphorus cleaner and sewage discharge with functions such as light-induced antibacterial and deodorization, etc.

Mr. Dengyun Yao, David

Deputy General Manager, Hansk New Materials Holdings Limited
Mr. Yao holds a Bachelor of Science, Chemistry and Chemical engineering college, Donghua University. He has 15 years of experience in the development and promotion of functional finishing agents, 13 years of anti-mosquito work, engaged in anti-mosquito, anti-mite sanitary finishing.

Topic: The Application and Case Analysis of Mosquito Repelling on Textile
We hope that more clothing brands and fabric suppliers will learn about anti-mosquito clothing, understand safer and more durable anti-mosquito technology applied to textile fabrics. We will continue to lead the anti-mosquito market, by standardizing the requirements of anti-mosquito textiles, and rendering consumers to use safe and effective anti-mosquito products.
